State of Europe

Roundtable

This year, Friends of Europe celebrates 10 years of lively and innovative debate, and, with the new European Parliament in place and a new European Commission about to arrive, we aim to use our State of Europe roundtable to highlight some of Europe’s achievements and challenges, to champion causes that deserve greater attention and to focus on social and political issues that need much greater European consensus. The sixth annual State of Europe high-level roundtable entitled "2009-2010: Turning Crisis into Creativity" will take place on Friday, October 9 at the Concert Noble Hall in the heart of Brussels. Co-organised with the Financial Times in partnership with Microsoft and Veolia Environnement, it will gather Friends of Europe's Trustees, business leaders, top policymakers and opinion-formers to discuss the state of Europe.
