By Wali Bugti
Bugti (Urdu: بگٹی), is a Baloch tribe located in Balochistan, Pakistan. They are divided clans which are known as Rahija, Kalpar, Nauthani, Masuri, Ferozani, Salamaan Zai, Mundarani, Qasimani, Shambani, Sobazai, Pah'i and Moharkanzai etc they number about 300,000.
BUGTI, a Baloch tribe, is a clan of Rind tribe, numbering about more than 15,500. Like the Marris, the Bugtis are physically a magnificent race of people, fine horsemen, good swordsmen and hereditary robbers. An expedition against them was organized by Sir C. Napier in 1845, but they were never brought under control until Sir Robert Sandeman ruled Balochistan. Since the construction of the railway, which completely outflanks their country, they have been fairly orderly. Marri and Bugti both are blood-related tribes. In fact it is said that Marri, Bugti, Khetran and Rind have the same origin.

Origin
Bugti's are from Aleppo (Halab) (Arabic: حلب) a historical place in Syria. They migrated to Dera Bugti, Balochistan some years after the death of the fourth Muslim Caliph Hazrat Ali ibn Abi Talib R.A after 661 A.D. The cause of their migration was that they had Controversies which ended up in Big fights in Syria with other Arab Clans of Aleppo. When they migrated, they settled in a place called Dera Bugti in Balochistan this is the reason why they are called Bugti. Dera Bugti had many Hindu's living their because Balochistan at that time was a part of the Sub-Continent, India, those Hindu's still live in Dera Bugti. Some historians[who?] say that the ancestor of Bugtis was Hazrat Ameer Hamza the uncle of the prophet Mohammed known as one of the bravest Muslims who sacrificed his life for the cause of Islam also titled as {Shaheed Ul Momineen}. This is the reason such Brave people like Nawab Akbar Khan Bugti were born among Bugti people. When Bugti's migrated from Aleppo, Syria to Dera Bugti they turned robbers as they had no money and no shelter some historians also say that they were so dangerous robbers they robbed everyone who passed their territory and they even looted the people who were on their way to Makkah for performing pilgrimage.
Language
The language of Bugti people is known as Bugti Balochi which is widely spoken in Dera Bugti, Sui, Kahan, Kohlu, Jacobabad, Sibi, Pir Koh and many other places in Balochistan. Many Historians of Balochistan say that when the Bugti's migrated from Syria they spoke Arabic but their language got influenced by Balochi as they were living in Balochistan and their language was also influenced by Sindhi and a little bit from Punjabi as well because their area is near the Punjab and Sindh boundaries and the only Arabic word they use which we can say is the only Arabic word left in their language is "Sheh" which means "thing or things".
Location
The area of Dera Bugti is a hill range in Pakistan, comprising the tribal tract known as Bugti country. A westward continuation of the Sulaimān Range, pointing toward the Quetta node, it is a barren area inhabited by the nomadic Bugtis. The discovery of natural gas deposits at Sūi has brought new economic life to the area. Several valleys and plateaus in the range are being brought gradually under cultivation. They who occupy the hills to the east of the Sind-Peshin railway, between Jacobabad and Sibi, with the Marris (a cognate tribe) to the north of them.
